Her love of nature is profound and deeply informs her floral designs. Mary Lois understands how to work with nature to craft luscious, textured, and artful creations.

Where else would she live but a city surrounded by natural beauty? Mary Lois made San Francisco her home, where she has lived for the last 16 years. Hailing from Georgia, a land as lush as her designs, not much of her accent lingers, but the warmth and hospitality of the South has. She is known for her accommodating and attentive manner, as well as her distinct ability to interpret her client’s dreams and bring them to a stunning reality that exceeds expectations. Often appreciated for her great attention to detail and her absolute devotion to and understanding of beauty, Mary Lois finds much of her work through enthusiastic referrals.

With her expertise as a colorist, set-designer, and interior designer, she offers an exceptional blend of skills that leads to events of unrivaled style and sophistication. Her work is influenced and strengthened by her study of studio art and art history as well as her background in the performing arts. Her many years working in the performing arts, on stage as well as behind the scenes, allows her an innate understanding of how to create a memorable occurence. Like a performance, an event is ephemeral. Mary Lois recognizes and values the power of the moment, and of creating a joyous and exceptional experience. Her visual environments surpass doing justice to the occasion and take it to the level of exaltation.
